Sandells were invited to a reception in the Maiden Tower in Leeds Castle to celebrate the successes enabled by the grants. We were welcomed by Carolyn McKenzie, head of Sustainable Business and Communities, Kent County Council.  There were brief speeches from two key Cabinet Members of Kent County Council, Mark Dance and Matthew Balfour, followed by a short video of some grant case studies.

Receiving the grant money ehas enabled Sandells to directly employ two full time employees. Our grant money has also enabled us to train our employees to install and maintain PV solar panels, train in safe handling of refrigerants for F Gas certificates, along with updating our construction software to allowed easier input of our increase workload.

It was a lovely afternoon and I'd like to say a big thank you to Chris Seamark and Chris Bell for all your help and for supporting us within Low Carbon Kent.
